Aansluitend op de artist talk tussen Hadassa Ngamba en Gabriel Kuri wordt de film Fahrenheit 451 (1966) gescreend, gecureerd door Michael Dean.
Fahrenheit 451 is een Britse sciencefiction-dramafilm uit 1966 onder regie van François Truffaut met in de hoofdrollen Oskar Werner en Julie Christie. Het scenario van de film is gebaseerd op de gelijknamige roman uit 1953 van de Amerikaanse auteur Ray Bradbury. De titel van de film verwijst naar de temperatuur waarop papier begint the ontbranden. Het dystopisch verhaal speelt zich af in een toekomst waar het hebben en lezen van boeken verboden is en volgt een speciale eenheid van een totalitair regime dat overal binnenvalt om boeken op te sporen en te vernietigen. De film is een belangrijke inspiratiebron in de praktijk van de Britse kunstenaar Michael Dean. Een van de sculpturen in de tentoonstelling in Cc Strombeek beeldt zelfs een scène uit de film uit.

Fahrenheit 451 is a 1966 British science fiction drama film directed by FranƧois Truffaut and starring Oskar Werner and Julie Christie. The screenplay of the film is based on the 1953 novel of the same name by American author Ray Bradbury. The title of the film refers to the temperature at which paper begins to ignite. Set in a future where the possession and reading of books is prohibited, the dystopian story follows a special unit of a totalitarian regime that invades everywhere to seek out and destroy books. The film is an important source of inspiration in the practice of British artist Michael Dean. One of the sculptures in the exhibition in Cc Strombeek even depicts a scene from the film.
