Het Cultuurcentrum Strombeek viert dit jaar haar 50e verjaardag. Op 5 mei 1973 opende het centrum officieel de deuren met een tweedaagse en “voor elk wat wils.” Voor deze bijzondere gelegenheid brengt Cc Strombeek een tentoonstelling met nieuw werk op papier van meer dan 50 kunstenaars. De expo is tegelijkertijd een benefietevenement. Alle kunstwerken die te zien zijn, worden elk te koop aangeboden voor 500 euro. Opgelet, want het is een “secret sale" !
De deelnemers kregen in het voorjaar per post een aquarelpapier (formaat A5) toegestuurd met de vraag om het blanco papier te bewerken en te transformeren tot een uniek kunstwerk. Los van het formaat, konden zij het thema en materiaal vrijelijk invullen. Hierna werden de werken door de kunstenaars per post teruggestuurd naar Cc Strombeek. Het resultaat kan je in deze expo bewonderen!
De tentoonstelling is tegelijkertijd een benefietevenement en dient als ondersteuning voor de toekomstige kunstprojecten en activiteiten in Cc Strombeek. Alle kunstwerken die in de tentoonstelling te zien zijn, worden elk te koop aangeboden voor 500 euro. Opgelet, want het is een “secret sale”: de namen van de kunstenaars worden niet meegedeeld tijdens de tentoonstelling zelf. Bij het moment van de aankoop, zal de kunstenaarsnaam aan jou worden meegedeeld. Elke kaart is gesigneerd op de achterzijde. Laat je verrassen!
Je kan het kunstwerk enkel online aankopen via de website van Cc Strombeek. De online verkoop start op de vernissage vrijdag 5 mei om 21.00u en sluit af op zondag 4 juni om 18.00u. De weblink is gedurende deze hele periode actief 24/24. Na de aankoop wordt u de naam van de kunstenaar en praktische info toegestuurd per e-mail.
Voor 500 euro neem je een uniek werk op papier mee naar huis!
Na afloop van de tentoonstelling op zondag 4 juni, kan je het werk komen ophalen in Cc Strombeek of kan het, op vraag, rechtstreeks geleverd worden. Alle kunstwerken werden per post heen- en terug verstuurd tussen Cc Strombeek en het adres van de kunstenaar. Hou er rekening mee dat ze daarom sporen kunnen dragen van de verzending per postverkeer.

Le Cultuurcentrum Strombeek a 50 ans cette année. Le centre a officiellement ouvert ses portes le 5 mai 1973: il y en a eu pour tous les goûts pendant deux jours. Pour célébrer cet anniversaire, le Cc Strombeek propose une exposition de nouvelles œuvres sur papier, signées par plus de 50 artistes. En plus d’être un événement caritatif, l’exposition sert à soutenir les futurs projets et activités artistiques du Cc Strombeek. Toutes les œuvres d’art exposées seront mises en vente au prix de 500 euros chacune. Attention, il s’agit d’une « vente à l’aveugle » !
Au printemps, les participants ont reçu un papier pour aquarelle (format A5) par courrier et ont été invités à le travailler pour en faire une œuvre d’art unique. Indépendamment du format, ils étaient libres de choisir le thème et le matériau. Les artistes ont ensuite renvoyé leur œuvre par courrier au Cc Strombeek. Vous pouvez admirer le résultat dans cette expo!
En plus d’être un événement caritatif, l’exposition sert à soutenir les futurs projets et activités artistiques du Cc Strombeek. Toutes les œuvres d’art exposées seront mises en vente au prix de 500 euros chacune. Attention, il s’agit d’une « vente à l’aveugle » : les noms des artistes ne seront pas communiqués pendant l’exposition proprement dite. Ils ne vous seront dévoilés qu’au moment de l’achat. Chaque carte est signée au verso. Surprise garantie !
L’achat d’une œuvre n’est possible qu’en ligne, sur le site web du Cc Strombeek. La vente en ligne commencera le jour du vernissage, soit le vendredi 5 mai à 21 h, pour se terminer le dimanche 4 juin à 18 h. Le lien sera actif 24 h/24 durant toute cette période. Vous recevrez le nom de l’artiste ainsi que les infos pratiques par e-mail après l’achat.
Offrez-vous une œuvre d’art unique sur papier pour 500 euros !
À l’issue de l’exposition, le dimanche 4 juin, vous pourrez venir chercher l’œuvre au Cc Strombeek ou vous la faire livrer directement, sur demande. Toutes les œuvres ont transité par la poste entre le Cc Strombeek et l’adresse de l’artiste. Il est donc possible qu’elles présentent des traces de l’envoi postal.

Cultuurcentrum Strombeek celebrates this year its 50th anniversary. On May 5th 1973, the centre officially opened its doors with a two-day event and "something for everyone." For this special occasion, Cc Strombeek brings together new work by more than 50 artists for a special exhibition. The exhibition is simultaneously a benefit event. All the artworks on display will each be offered for sale for €500. Attention, as it is a "secret sale"!
In spring this year, participants were sent a postcard produced on watercolour paper (A5 format) by post with a request to edit the blank paper and to transform it into a unique work of art. Aside from the postcard format, they were free to choose the theme and material. After this, the works were returned to Cc Strombeek by the artists by post. You can admire the result in this exhibition!
The exhibition is simultaneously a benefit event and serves to support future art projects and activities at Cc Strombeek. All artworks on display in the exhibition will be offered for sale at €500 each. Please note that this is a "secret sale": the names of the artists will not be communicated during the exhibition itself. At the time of purchase, the artists' names will be communicated to you. Each postcard is signed on the back. Let yourself be surprised!
You can only purchase the artwork online via the Cc Strombeek website. The online sale starts during the vernissage Friday 5th May at 9pm and closes on Sunday 4th June at 6pm. The weblink will be active 24/24 during this entire period. After purchase, you will be sent the artist's name and practical info by e-mail.
For €500, you take home a unique work on paper!
After the exhibition ends on Sunday 4th June, you are invited to come and collect the work at Cc Strombeek or, upon request, it can be delivered to you. Please note that all artworks have been sent by post back and forth between Cc Strombeek and the artist's address and may therefore bear traces of this.
