Op zondag 25 mei organiseert Cc Strombeek “Double Minutes”, een nomadisch kunstenaarsproject dat het format van een artist talk opnieuw uitvindt. Voor deze 15e editie worden de Brusselse kunstenaars Jonas Dehnen en Nicolas Goudket uitgenodigd om een experimentele dialoog met elkaar aan te gaan.
"Double Minutes" is een nomadisch project dat het format van een artist talk opnieuw uitvindt. In elke editie worden twee kunstenaars uitgenodigd om de eigenaardigheden en inspiraties te delen die hun praktijk vormgeven. Tegelijkertijd worden ze aangemoedigd om te experimenteren met de scenografische, performatieve en collaboratieve mogelijkheden van een dergelijke presentatie. Het resultaat is een reeks live evenementen die het artistieke discours en de dynamische interactie tussen verschillende praktijken bevorderen.
Jonas Dehnen
De praktijk van Jonas Dehnen (°1992, Duitsland, woont en werkt in Brussel) omvat schilderen, tekenen en dilettantisch beeldhouwen, belichaamd in een iteratief en subjectief maakproces. De resulterende werken zijn tegelijkertijd diagrammen (van zijn activiteiten, herinneringen en persoonlijke geschiedenis), tekens (ook van dezelfde dingen), bruggen (tussen diezelfde dingen), eilanden in (en van) de wereld, schuilplaatsen (soms ruim, soms wankel) - allemaal tegelijk.
Nicholas Goudket
Nicholas Goudket (°1995, woont en werkt in Brussel) werkt met tekeningen, fotografie, installaties en teksten. Schommelend tussen innerlijke sferen - het introspectieve, droomachtige en onbewuste - en de externe, normatieve wereld, smeedt zijn werk een delirische tegen-realiteit: een ruimte van voortdurende reflectie en (her)verbeelding.

On Sunday, May 25, Cc Strombeek hosts “Double Minutes,” a nomadic artist project that reinvents the format of an artist talk. For this 15th edition, Brussels-based artists Jonas Dehnen and Nicolas Goudket are invited to engage in an experimental dialogue with each other.
Double Minutes is a nomadic project that reimagines the format of an artist talk. In each edition, two artists are invited to share the peculiarities and inspirations that shape their practices. At the same time, they are encouraged to experiment with the scenographic, performative, and collaborative possibilities of such a presentation. The result is a series of live events that foster artistic discourse and the dynamic interaction between diverse practices.
Jonas Dehnen
Jonas Dehnen’s (b. 1992, Germany, lives and works in Brussels) practice encompasses painting, drawing, and dilettante sculpture, embodied in an iterative and subjective process of making. The resulting works simultaneously constitute diagrams (of his activities, memories and personal history), tokens (also of the same things), bridges (between those same things), islands in (and of) the world, shelters (sometimes spacious, sometimes unsteady) - all at once.
Nicholas Goudket
Nicholas Goudket’s (b.1995, lives and works in Brussels) practice unfolds through drawing, photography, installation, and writing. Oscillating between inner realms — the introspective, dreamlike, and unconscious — and the external, normative world, his work forges a delirious counter-reality: a space of continuous reflection and (re)imagination.
