Double Minutes #1
Artist Talk met Roel Kerkhofs en Koi Persyn
Data
ma 21.03.22 | 20u - 21u30
āI believe that art is universal. I believe that art is autonomous. I believe that art can provoke a dialogue or confrontation, one to one. And I believe that art can include every human being. When I write believe, Iām doing it not because I think or know it, not because I can prove it. But because in art itās a matter of believing.ā (Thomas Hirsschorn)
āArt is what makes life more interesting than artā (Robert Filliou).

In the spring, Cc Strombeek is organising a series of three Artist Talks with promising Belgian artists, in collaboration with Wildernis Strmbk.
Rather than a discussion about the artist's practice, specific works of art and/or exhibitions, these informal conversations highlight the artist's main sources of inspiration. There are no restrictions on the choice of media: film, music, literature, internet, objects, etc. The artists can also experiment with the scenografie and spatial qualities of the talk itself. We hope to welcome you for an engaging and insightful evening with a focus on the joint experience of personal fragments.
